Boxthorn at the top of the Jacksons Creek escarpment.
The Boxthorn has been cut, painted and burned, and the site is ready for the planting of Acacia implexa, an indigenous tree that once dominated the site.
A direct seeding site at Sydenham Park.
The same site a year later.
This grassland remnant was managed for two years as a source of seed for our seed production area until Spring 2008. We now have 2.5 hectares of Danthonia from this site producing seed. This site will soon be lost to a new interchange on the Calder Highway.
