Brimbank Grassland Gardens
Flora Victoria was originally established to create these landscapes for Brimbank City Council in 1998. Although our focus has changed to much larger revegetation projects, we still like to create inspiring indigenous landscapes.
Goonawarra Entrance Beds
The Goonawarra entrance beds on Lancefield Rd Sunbury were designed and planted by Flora Victoria in 2005 in the middle of a long drought. This small project for Hume City Council included several beds along both sides of Sunningdale Ave.
Emu Valley roadside
In 2006 Flora Victoria treated some of the highly erodible soils along roadsides at Emu Valley near Sunbury.
Native Grass Lawns
Occasionally Flora Victoria sow lawn areas with native grass. Some native grasses are suitable for the creation of low biomass drought tollerant turf.
E.E.Muir & Sons Laverton North
Native grass was a solution for hiding some ugly mounds of fill at the Laverton North warehouse.
Quarry Hills Pipeline
When a pipeline was constructed in the City of Whittlesea at the Quarry Hills Reserve in 2009, Flora Victoria revegetated the site using a mix of local grass species.
