Native Grass Seed Production Industry Day
On the 27th of October 2011 Flora Victoria hosted and funded a one day conference at their Keilor native grass seed production area. The day was intended to promote Victorian native grass seed growers that have been operating for a number of years, but still have a very low profile in the revegetation and landscape industries. Besides Flora Victoria, growers like Native Seeds and Ko-Warra were present (check our links page for their websites). It was also great to meet some other native grass growers from around Victoria who attended the day.
About ninety guests representing some of the major Ecological Consultancies, Landscape Architect companies, Educational organisations like the University of Melbourne and Victoria University, large government organisations like VicRoads, Melbourne Water, DSE, Greening Australia, Barwon Water, Parks Victoria, CMA, Municipal Councils and many others.
